What is Mentoring?
Mentoring essentially means that senior students act as a guide and adviser to new students in the same course (or in a similar or related course) during their initial period of adjustment to university. The general idea is to assist new students to become independent learners in a new environment. Mentors are not expected to be a teacher, proofread assignments, solve all problems, or be on call.
