Message from the Vice-Chancellor
Welcome to the SAFER campaign section. I hope you will take the time to become familiar with the information available here and encourage your friends to do the same.
Australia is a secure and largely harmonious nation, but as in any country, criminal acts do occur.
Curtin makes every effort to ensure the safety of its community, and this campaign has been developed as a resource for students. It brings together a range of safety information including simple precautions you can take which will help protect you and your belongings on and off campus.
If you do find yourself in difficult circumstances, these pages also includes information on the help available to you, both through the University and the WA community.
I hope you enjoy your time at Curtin and encourage you to use the information on this site, and the many other resources the University offers.
